Parkinson"s - chronic, progressive disease characterized by muscle tremors, slowing of movement, and partial facial paralysis; triggered by degeneration of dopamine-producing neurons in the brain. Stress is increasingly being identi ed as a factor in many diseases. For infants, the importance of receiving adequate energy intake and nutrients in a loving and supportive environment cannot be overstated. For the rst 4-6 months of life, human milk or an alternative formula is the baby"s source of nutrients and energy. Malnutrition/poor nutrition and obesity have become key problems among children and adolescents. Being overweight raises the risk for many medical and psychological problems.
