MMW 12 Chapter Notes - Chapter Reading: Impermanence

65 views1 pages

Document Summary

Interbeing -- everything is made of the things that brought it to be and is not possessed. Everything and everyone is empty of a separate self. In order to truly understand anything, we have to become one with it. Without emptiness and impermanence, nothing is possible and life cannot exist. Everything that exists is empty on account of the fact that in order to exist it has to of itself alone. Something cannot be made out of nothing and what once was something can never become nothing. We only continue our journey, never beginning or ending it. There are no sides to anything because everything is made of everything else. There is no good or evil, because that would mean that without one, the world would be better or worse when in reality we need both in order to see either.
