Beta alcoholism of alcohol (for example polyneuropathy, gastritis, cirrhosis of liver) but which occur without physical or psychological dependence upon alcohol. Gamma alcoholism metabolism, and they experience withdrawal symptoms, physical dependence (craving) and loss of control. The most destructive form of alcoholism since it affects the physical, psychological, and social aspects of individuals. This type seen in american alcoholism clinics and aa groups. Delta alcoholism metabolism, withdrawal symptoms, and craving, but rather than loss of control they lack ability to abstain from drinking.
