The police found her in her car with a hose attached to the muffler that was pulled inside the car. She had been planning suicide for over 6 months because she felt she had lived a full life and that she was afraid of getting older. He (cid:271)elie(cid:448)ed that it (cid:862)is her right(cid:863) to take her life if she so chooses: she had no medical problems. Family history of completed suicide in her uncle and grandfather. Both of her parents died at the age of 75 years old. Her sister and daughter are supportive but do not live nearby. No previous psychiatric treatment: angry, argumentative, no right to intervene. Intentional act of killing oneself by any means.
