Sexual activities include sexual contact performed by perpetrator on the child but also the child on the perpetrator. Abusive behaviors can extend from exhibitionism to intercourse. Have to evaluate the intent of the perpetrator -> are the activities intended for the sexual stimulation of the perpetrator. Important component is that adult exploits their authority, knowledge, & power to achieve sexual ends. Children can also be perpetrators sexually abusing other children -> exploitation by virtue of perpetrator"s size, age, sex, or status. Children may not fully understand situation or might not be in position to decline. All states prohibit csa, but specifics of the statutes vary state by state. Age of consent falls somewhere between 14 to 18 years old. Sexual contact between an adult & a minor who has not reached the age of legal consent is illegal.
