Some adjectives change before a vowel or a mute h: beau belle bel, nouveau nouvelle nouvel, vieux vieille vieil. To form the plural of most adjectives, add s to the singular. If a single adjective modifies two nouns of opposite gender, the adjective will be in the masculine plural form. Most adjectives go behind the nouns they describe; there are some irregularities. If there are more than one adjective, they go in their proper places.
