Stroop task: blue written in the color red, stroop effect = rt(incong)- rt(neutral, people with high span have a smaller stroop than low span. Latent variable analysis: measuring 2 common constructs and seeing how they fit together. Working memory: math, reasoning, note taking, decision making, planning, language acquisition, reading comprehension.
