We all have different perspectives of different places. North americans started to vacation via car (road trips) Chav-free tourism travel while avoid running into wal-mart white trash. Holiday"s for nice families for people with mature, high-class children: national lampoon"s vacation, 1st tourist experience. Shows the differences between intellectual and tour bus tourists. About a hit man sent to bruges on vacation by his boss who loves bruges, but he hates it. Note: usually our first tourism experience is with our immediate family. Cohen divided tourists into two groups: novelty vs. familiarity. Organized mass tourists are the least adventurous often go to experience better weather, don"t care about culture of location. Travel to a base location and stay there - going to experience better weather rather than an experience. Travel beyond the hotel for another experience. Las vegas leave hotel to go to a show or see the strip. Makes their own plans, experience the geography and history of the location.
