These risk factors can be improved by change in lifestyle and behavior modification. A disease in which body does not produce or respond to insulin. Insulin is a hormone that regulates carbohydrate and fat metabolism. Type 1 diabetes could be inherited as risk factor from parents. Excess weight, especially around the waist line is major and most controllable risk factor for type 2. Tingling and loss of sensation in hand and feet. Heart is small, only about the size of clenched fist. Located between the lungs in the middle of chest, called pericardial cavity. Interior of the heart has open spaces called chambers. Upper chamber- atrium and lower chamber is called ventricle.
