Chapter 4- botany basics: the difference between reproductive organs of plants and reproductive organs of animals. Reproductive organs in a plant is a flower. Flowers need pollinators to reproduce while animals do not. Flowers might contain both male or female reproductive organs while animals typically contain only one: examples of animals that have life cycles similar to annuals and perennials. Annuals: african annual fish (lifespan: 17 days) There are so many different kinds of flowers. There are flowers with different structures and different appearance. This is because of the difference in the dna and the genes of each parent flower: the most important plant organ: Leaves, because leaves are the organs that helps in the process of photosynthesis without which plants cannot get energy to produce glucose. Chapter 5- origins of agriculture: cereal crops were being used as staple food because it was very filling. This means that people had more time to socialize.
