Ahuramazda also held abstract attributes, or states, according to zoroaster, that all humans should strive to such as good thinking, right and piety. He was not unopposed because ahuramazda was supreme. At the beginning of the world, the evil spirit, known as ahriman, had opposed ahuramazda"s good spirit. In this universal battle between good and evil human beings have played a part.
