Their form of progress is visible in many aspects of their daily life. Eating habits, dress style, housing, religious practices, education, family organization. Hui say that pork is especially impure. Pork is a major food item for chinese people. Hui say alcohol is even more impure than pork. Religious movements that seek to bring about positive change through re- establishing a religion that has been threatened by outside forces or through adopting new practices and beliefs.
