Deviance is any behavior, belief, or condition that violates significant social norms in the society or groups in which it occurs. Behavioral deviance is based on a person"s intentional or inadvertent actions. People may regard as deviant if they express a radical or unusual belief system. Deviance is relative an act becomes deviant when is it socially defined as such.
