Provisioning services: natural goods and services and ecosystem provides (raw materials) Public goods: things that are not depleted as people use them and that cannot we effectively limited in order to charge money. Renewable resource: natural capacity to regenerate itself / an ecosystem has the capacity to replenish itself despite certain quantities of organisms being taken from it. Conservation: to manage and regulate use (still included human activity) Preservation: ensures the continuity of species and ecosystems regardless of their potential utility. Consumptive use: harvesting natural resources in order to provide themselves with life essentials (food, shelter, etc. ) Productive use: is the exploitation of ecosystems resources for economic gain. Tenure: property rights of the land and water housing resources: private ownership (restricts access to natural resources, communal ownership (members of the community have access, state ownership (state regulated use, open access (resources can be used by anyone)
