Ranges: normal: less than 120 and less than 80, pre hypertension: 120-139 and 80-89, hypertension: more than 140 and more than 90, hypotension: less than 100 systolic. Factors affecting blood pressure: age, excerise, stress, severe pain, race, obesity, sex, medications, diurnal, disease, orthostatic hypotension.
