Resources and techniques a family or individuals within the family use to maintain a balance or level of health when faced with stressors: family diversity. Increasing the need to find quality child care. Increasing number of children living below poverty level: homelessness. Children: fair or poor health, higher rates of asthma, ear infections, stomach problems, and mental illness, risk of developing long term health issues, usually under immunized. Usually only access to health care is through emergency department: one of most expensive health services.
