Morality: the system of beliefs about what is right and good compared to what is wrong and bad. Refers to the changes in moral beliefs as a person grows older and gain maturity. It is possible to know the right thing and not do the right thing. Social conventions may have a moral component. Morality of justice: about respect for fairness, equality and individual"s independence. Morality of care: human responsibilities: about caring for one another, showing consideration and interdependence among individuals. He proposed 6 stages to moral development, and grouped to 3 groups. Ethics of obedience and punishment: morality of keeping out of trouble. The rightness and wrongness of an action was either rewarded or punished by the adult. Ethics of market exchange: a morally good action affects not only the one child but others involved. Ethics of peer opinion: children are more likely to behave how others in the group behave.
