Document Summary
One is based in louisiana and one is in nicaragua. My social network in nicaragua has now become a network of weaker ties only maintained through social media. It is a very large network consisting of my hispanic family and all of the friends, teachers and other relationships i was a part of from age 5 to age 16. It is very large and occasionally, i visit nicaragua and rekindle old relationships. The internet also allows me to connect with friends that are now in college who have also moved away and every few months, I am able to bond with old close friends through skype or facebook where we retell all the important events form the last time we talked. My louisiana network consists of my family that lives in new iberia, the friends i made in natchitoches louisiana, and the friends i have made at lsu in baton rouge.
