It could be kissing, touching, oral sex, etc. Researchers define hooking up as physical encounters without expectations. It could be kissing, vaginal sex, oral sex, anal sex, just touching. Alcohol is generally involved, people meet and hook up and it could reoccur weekend after weekend. Its for people who do not want a serious relationship. There is a double standard in regards to hooking up. Men who hook up a lot are considered studs, whereas women are considered sluts.
