Primary- a small informal group of ppl who interact impersonally, have few emotional ties, and come together for a specific, practical purpose. Important because of procress we take to socialize. In group- a social group to which ppl feel they do not belong and with which they share. Out groups- a group to which ppl feel they do not belong.
