Describe the popular crowd in your high school. My friends influence my personality by telling me when something i do is not socially acceptable. By doing this, they are constructing what is cool and ultimately making me feel more popular . Being popular is social constructed, and just depends of who knows who. For example, if you were to ask people i graduated high school with, who the popular kids were back then, you"d get a plethora of answers. There were multiple groups of highly popular kids that would never even interact with each other. I also went to a fairly large high school, and not everyone knew each other. The music video, popular , by nada surf doesn"t really relate to my high school experience because the cheerleaders and football players weren"t really the popular people. They had lots of friends, but they weren"t the people you would think about looking back at high school.
