Domesticated: process where a population of an organism is genetically changed through selective breeding to accentuate traits that ultimately benefit humans. Livestock: domesticated animals raised in an agricultural setting to produce commodities or commercial use. Also domesticated: assateague island, wild and feral pigs, african wild dog, dingo. Game: animals that are hunted for food or sport (ducks) Non-game: do not have an open season to be hunted or trapped (tigers) Game/non-game: based on habitat, size, and life stage. Wildlife management: activates that directly and indirectly influence size and structure of free-ranging undomesticated animals. Actions and steps required to take in order to take care of wildlife, and making sure each species has its own needs fulfilled. Animal damage (over feeding, getting hit by a vehicle) Territory: selected region that an individual or group of animals dynamically defend from other rival animals.
