In our survey we will attempt to place these traditions within their cultural contexts and develop a balanced scheme of investigation which incorporates history, philosophy, texts, rituals, myths, and other popular expressions of religiosity. Introduce students to the humanities discipline of religious studies. Students will also acquire an understanding of the practices that exist in these religions that express, enhance, and inculcate these positions and values.
