3/ a psychology major has appealed to me since i took a psychology course in high school. I was fascinated with how much could be determined from such simple experiments. Pavlov was able to develop the theory of operant conditioning just from a dog"s saliva. Case studies provide a vast amount of knowledge on the specific topic studied. With other majors, i felt the sense that after college there was little more to be learned. You have attended your classes, made the a, and that was practically the end of the line. With psychology, a profession is practically made out of discovering new information. To me, psychology is similar to archeology there is still an unbelievable amount of information out there to be discovered, but you do not have to go digging in the dirt to look for it. It is also an interesting type of information to learn.
