Oceanography is an interdisciplinary science that integrates geology, chemistry, physics and biology of the marine environment, and reflects the four sections that this course is taught as. An exam will be given at the end of each of the four sections. The first two chapters of the textbook are introductory material, with the geological material being covered in chapters one through five, all of which will constitute the first exam. Videos will be shown periodically during the course to illustrate relevant material and you will be given a set of questions to answer relating to the film which may appear on your exam. If you miss a test you may be given a makeup exam immediately after the scheduled test provided you have appropriate documentation for an excused absence as listed below and do not delay your return to class.
