This course is a five (5) hour introductory calculus course designed for math, science and engineering majors and certain other technical majors. This course is a general education course in the analytical reasoning area because it includes the following area learning objective: lsu graduates will employ scientific and mathematical models in the resolution of laboratory and real-world problems. As a 5-credit course, students are expected to have 10 hours of coursework outside of class per week, for a minimum time commitment of 15 hours per week.
