Metabolisms: the breakdown of large molecules or building new structural components. Responsiveness: detection and response the change of internal and external stimuli. Movement: can me any structural level; can be body organ cell. Growth: increase with the number or size of cells. Reproduction: formation of new cells or new individuals. Anatomical position: palms forward and facing forward; everything is according to the body being studied. Rostral: towards the nose; usually something to do with the nose. Proximal: closer to the point of attachment; usually talking about joints and muscles. Distal: further away from the point of attachment.
