(pectoral girdle is the upper limbs and pelvic girdle is the lower limbs) The pectoral girdle: consists of the left and right clavicle (anteriorly) and left and right scapula (posteriorly, connects the upper limbs and axial skeleton, clavicle ( collarbone ) Location: above first rib, extends from the sternum to the scapula. Acromioclavicular joint: aka. lateral end, appearance: flattened portion of the bone.
