Knock-offs- copies of expensive designs in a cheaper fabric. Seasonal lines- designers work on 3 seasonal lines at a time, monitor sales the new line for following season. Manufacturers- 3-12 months prior to presentation to retail buyers, many of current seasonal line, put finishing touches on next season"s line, begin to develop.
