Document Summary

Republican president dwight d. eisenhower was a monetarily conservative president as he says "i will be a conservative when it comes to money matters and a liberal when it comes to human beings. " Eisenhower was domestically conservative shown with his budget cuts and giving the empowering the private sector. He was trying to put communism to a stop with his policy of containment do to his belief in the domino theory. In contrast democrate john f. kennedy was different with his social issues such as welfare and his practice of big spending. He had spent a lot of money just to get to the moon with nasa. So to me it is pretty clear that dwight d. Dwight eisenhower was a republican president that was not a money spender. Eisenhower was all for getting his country to a state of peace and happiness.
