Document Summary
Historian means investigation, researches into the persian wars. Primary sources- a primary source is a document or physical object which was written or created during the time under study. These sources were present during an experience or time period and offer an inside view of a particular event. Secondary sources- secondary sources are documents written after an event has occurred, providing secondhand accounts of that event, person, or topic. Unlike primary sources, which provide first-hand accounts, secondary sources offer different perspectives, analysis, and conclusions of those accounts. A written account about the past based on their accounts from primary sources. Have to ask questions about evidence. (what does this tell me) We do not have a perfect view of the past. Hard to get the history of the past. Political, social, intellectual, cultural, institutional, women/gender, environmental, religious, economic, history of science, legal, business, military, and many more.
