Art, science, philosophy, architecture, all inspired by the grecian romans. Private property, and inspired the practice of colonizing new lands. Military establishing plantation like farms and run by the romans. Same techniques were used by spain and portugal and they established colonies in the new world. It was true colonialism when europe took over the world.
