Reintegration of eastern europe: fall of state socialism, market reforms, reintegration, cheap land and labor has brought in a foreign investment, inflation, unemployment and homelessness appeared quickly, countries still struggling, countries well integrated. Economy: 35% of worlds exports, 43% of worlds imports, high levels of material consumption, regional income disparities, welfare states, high levels of taxation, social housing, pensions and unemployment benefits.
