Course objectives: students will be able to use scientific vocabulary to describe and practice real-world applications of general environmental science knowledge and techniques to solve environmental problems. They will demonstrate the ability to design and test hypotheses by appropriate techniques and know application and critical evaluation of scientific work. Students will develop knowledge of the underlying principles that govern the natural world. Students will use inductive and deductive reasoning to examine and understand scientific phenomena.
