Document Summary

It was one of those days when it"s so cold it burns. St. petersburg went about their business as usual hustling down the street with heads bent to the wind, boots trudging through the snow. Under one of the newly lit gas lamps stood a tall boy with much too long messy brown hair that stuck out every which way from under his hat in a most unkempt fash- ion. He stared across the street at the doors of an old church, waiting. As the minutes ticked by, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a tin of cigarettes, placing one be- tween his lips. He reached back into his pocket, this time producing a box of matches. Between the nagging wind and his clumsy gloved hands, lighting the blasted thing was quite an ordeal, yet somehow he managed and took a deep, well deserved drag.
