Document Summary

In this lab, we tested the equipment and our knowledge of simple circuits by creating the circuits and finding respecting values. We created circuits with resistors in-parallel and in-series to test voltages at specific terminals depending on the terminal and resistor values. This lab required us to have pre-existing knowledge of ohm"s law (v = ir) and how to do node- analysis and voltage division. Applying voltage division to the circuits we created to find respecting values and also changing components to get a better idea of what is actually happening. Before lab, we created the circuits on paper and did the calculations to get an idea of what values we should be getting. First thing in the lab, we set up corresponding circuits by acquiring the necessary resistors, then we set up the tools we used such as the voltmeter and the ohmmeter and tested them to assure they were working correctly.
