Document Summary
As far as this speech went, i was pretty disappointed. I and my audience would enjoy and had to settle for one that seemed to bore us both. On top of that, i felt that i didn"t practice my speech enough because i found myself making contradictory statements and even turning some parts into a persuasive speech which was really annoying. My preparation was poor, my performance followed suit, and i have plans set up to solve these problems. My preparation was lackluster to say the least. I spent about two and a half days working on the speech which was definitely not enough. I had to write and speak about a topic that could put a screaming toddler to sleep mid-tantrum. I realized that i should"ve looked deeper into speech topics once i caught myself on instagram for the eighth time. Honestly, i was desperate and ended up screwing myself.
