August 13, 2011, driving up to blake for the first time, not knowing what was going to happen after my parents left, was one of the scariest moments of my life. Not only was i moving 12 hours away from home to go to college i also knew no one else coming to lsu. I nervously stepped outta the car and began to unpack everything i would need for the next year. After the first few horrifying days of living on my own as well as going through the stress of sorority rush i began to settle in to campus life. Wake up, go to class, eat lunch, work on homework, hang out with friends, sleep, and then repeat. It all seemed so simple at first and i didn"t understand how so many people said they did terrible their first semester, everything so far seemed easy. I had no real responsibilities, no parents to check up on everything, no curfew.
