The cranberry and milford pa locations are particularly similar to each other in that they both prominently feature a walmart surrounded with various smaller retail locations and restaurants. Both have a walmart, a dunkin donuts, mcdonalds, subway, staples, and various restaurants along a major highway. The milford location is overall less developed, but the overall structure of the towns" business areas are the same. Somerville also shares many of these businesses, such as mcdonalds, taco bell, and. Dunkin donuts, but the businesses there are spread along a more residential area rather than a highway. As well, even the businesses that are not shared are all chains which have multiple locations across the country. As such, placelessness has effected each area in that the businesses available to visit in each location are essentially the same, so some sense of individual place is lost. Vienna - prominently features american fast food restaurants on main streets alongside local restaurants and stores.
