Caribbean sea noted for biological diversity but never supported commercial fishing industry. Greater and lesser antilles are the two groups. Majority of population live there (belize, guiana, and caribbean coast. ). Most are on caribbean tectonic plate and experience significant earthquakes. Greater antilles consists of cuba jamaica, hispaniola, and puerto rico.
