Intimacy ~ ability to have relationship with another person that includes mutual connectedness and valuing of other person; individual values closeness and seeks it when appropriate: evolutionary task of human to perform on three levels. Interpersonal level which reflects attachment processes: group level and involves prosocial behavior, altruism, and cooperation needed.
