The fact of the matter is we know virtually nothing about the biology of any. Recall: dinosaur- most are known from partial specimens and it is difficult to discern behavioral and physiological attributes from bones. 1902- barnum brown headed an expedition to montana hoping marsh, cope, and their followers left something behind. The boss names the eater of elephants. Even before it was entirely removed from the field, henry osborn, brown"s boss, went ahead and named it tyrannosaurus rex- the tyrant lizard king. Estimated it to be 4 million years old (false) and 19 feet tall, 39 feet long. Brown found a different species in 1900. This was just simply another t-rex dinosaur, and osborn later found that out. So really, the first t-rex was found in 1900, not 1902. 1907- brown found another, nearly complete, t-rex skeleton. This became the famous skeleton at the american museum of natural history (amnh).
