The philosopher David Mayo is possibly unique in arguing that we do not necessarily have a moral
obligation to reveal our HIV status to potential sexual partners.
See his provocative essay "An Obligation to Warn of HIV Infection?" in Soble, ed.
Michael Slote argues that "Sexual perversion" is an "Inapplicable concept" ; Graham Priest also calls
it "Inapplicable" and adds that "The notion of sexual perversion makes no sense" any longer; Igor
Primoratz thinks that "Sexual perversion" is "a concept best discarded"; Linda LeMoncheck wants to
replace "Sexual perversion" with "Sexual difference"; and Robert Gray submits that "Sexual
perversion" should "Be dropped from our sexual vocabulary altogether", 493-538.
Aquinas condemns sexual acts in which "The natural style of intercourse is not observed, as regards
the proper organ or according to rather beastly and monstrous techniques".
He might have meant this claim to apply to oral sex.
