Schemas- concepts or mental molds into which we pour our experiences: assimilate- the interpretation of new experiences into our current understanding, accommodate- the schemas to incorporate information provided by new experiences. Sense and action used to interpret the world. Infants lack object permanence- the awarness that objects continue to exhist even when they are not seen.
