The library contains many resources to help you find what you need, including librarians, the catalogue, reference works, and databases. Too often students waste their time wandering aimlessly in the library because they are afraid to ask for assistance. Librarians are experts in their own field, trained in library use and research methods. The catalogue lists all the books, periodicals, and other resources owned by the library. Although there are many different computer systems for library catalogues, most allow you to search for books by author, title, subject, or keyword.
