Document Summary

Color, temperature, and light: temp/color related through blackbody radiation (things that emit their own light) Order of corresponding colors with temp: roy-g-biv. When red, green, & blue combine: creates white light. Gravity pushes star inwards: gravity compresses star, pulls it inward & emits radiation from core. Energy from fusion pushes star outwards: radiation then pushes star back outward. Have bigger gravitational inward pull, so more radiation has to be created to keep the balance. Don"t need as much energy produced in core to keep gravity balance. Caused by intense magnetic fields ejecting from surface. Cycle= 22 yrs (11 for each direction of magnetic field) Middle: over time, more occur more often.
