Scene 6
• The final battle ultimately begins in Scotland, next to Macbeth and Lady
Macbeth’s castle.
• It was a battle between Malcolm and Macbeth, the English and Scottish forces
respectively.
Scene 7
• In this short scene, we witness Macbeth and Malcolm’s soldiers fight against each
other for the crown.
• Macbeth is once again presented as a strong soldier and ruthless man as he goes
through the enemy forces.
Scene 8
• In this scene, Macbeth’s rival Macduff returns to the castle with the intention to
kill the king.
• He is determined to get his revenge for his father’s death and looks for Macbeth in
the crowd.
