Secrete chemolines: small signaling proteuns that call wbc to the area: mast cells secrete histamine. Chemical messanger: dilates blood vessel so that the become more permeable to allow for antibodies etc to get into tissue: neutrophils move out of blood vessels fig 48. 3 again. Engulf pathogens by phagocytosis - then kill pathogens: more macrophages arrive.
