Man"s search for meaning pages 3 to 16 summary. The first paragraph state that the book is intended to show how everyday life in a concentration camp felt like. The events described in the book usually takes place in small infamous concentration camps where the real extermination happened. Capos people became like ss guards because they had better lives than the prisoners and were trained to be very highly skilled. It is easy for outsiders to have the wrong idea about camp life. Only those prisoners who are weak and incapable of work are transported to places that. Auschwitz to be exterminated while those who are strong stay alive and possibly became the capos. No one considered normal moral or ethical issues. Prisoners had to do whatever it takes to fight for existence. The author went on to say that he had big courage just to state his convictions openly.
