Crisis communication is regarded as a diverse field that takes ideas from: Crisis managers look to literature for ideas on how to create better responses to crisis. Crisis communication theory needs to go past the function of explanatory theory to prediction and functions of control. Prediction deals with the ability to anticipate end results. Control deals with suggestions about which actions should be taken to create the most effective and appropriate result.
